I have a membership at Best fitness and ABC fitness and i will say that ABC is my Favorite. It just has that old school gym feel to it, you walk in and get straight to business. 4 dead lift platforms and 4 squat racks should be all a lifter needs to hear about this gym.
A great place to workout with tons of expertise. They are constantly striving to be the best workout experience.
So, I'm a member of vent still, but when the weather was bad, I couldn't go because they were closed. I checked out ABC and they're day pass for non members is only 10 bucks. Best in the area for that. I went down today to actually sign up. Pay $179 for 18 months isn't bad at all. Paige was the one to help me out, and she was very nice. Love the environment here, especially with the renovations right now. This place is a true "judgement free zone" unlike others in the area. Thanks again to Paige, and ABC for kicking the competitions ass.

Before and after the renovation, this was and is the best gym in the area. Equipment is all up to date, the staff is polite and cordial and the clientele seems respectful. But what kept me here (I'm on the bike now) is a situation from almost two years ago. I came in the afternoon, having just been laid off, so I was in a pretty dispirited mood to say the least. I'm on a machine when this patron basically drops a weight on my foot and tells me to clean up after myself. Normally I'd ignore this but that day I snapped and got in his face looking for a childish resolution. Well the next day, the owner had to meet with me before allowing me back (I was a huge jerk the previous day) and he listened to my, accepted my apology and didn't terminate me. Honestly, my behavior that day was atrocious, but they understood, and I've been coming back since. Just a little part to the human element of this place.
