So I go in and have been a wine drinker for some time now - tried many different labels and have a decent foundation for my pallet.
So I go to checkout and the guy was super friendly and asks me if I have 2 minutes for a quick story.
I am always looking to try new vineyards out so spot a label that just looks cool.
I say sure, I was about to split a bottle of wine with my girlfriend the rest of the night, so whats another 2 minutes before the booze fest, right?

Needless to say I became an instant fan of the wine label and had a tremendous experience.

This company actually purchases excess wine from established and high quality vineyards and sell them at a reduced price - the kicker is they do not reveal the name of the vineyards to save the integrity of the company whose wine is in that batch. Brilliant!

He begins to explain to me the back story of this brand I chose - which was 90+ Cellars. Turns out this was a super intriguing story about how the wine isn't from a vineyard at all, but a company who decided to go about selling wine in a new way.
Don't we all do that with wine? Oh that label looks pretty or interesting - it must taste great! (so silly but I know we all do it)
